The Shift Orchestra Project, founded and led by Penn State alumnus David Flowers, is partnering with Cappella Clausura to produce Sarah Kirkland Snider's "Mass for the Endangered", accompanied by Deborah Johnson's stunning video-artwork. This hauntingly beautiful composition by one of today's leading composers is a reflection on humanity's relationship with nature and the growing climate crisis. Our performance will take place at 5:30PM on September 11th at the Emmanuel Church in downtown Boston, and will also feature works by rising-star and Grammy-nominated performer, Ayanna Woods, and the late Sven-David Sandström. Ticket sales will be opened at the end of this month, but we are presently raising funds to ensure the success of the event.
