Hye Won Lee is a proud '05 graduate of Penn State University where she studied Biobehavioral Health. During her time at University Park, she was involved in numerous groups and organizations. She was a part of the Womens Leadership Initiative and volunteered at Lifelink and the Red Cross Club. She was also the president of the Womens Club Lacrosse team and worked as a research assistant at the Vascular Health Interventions Lab.

After PSU, she moved to Boston to attend Boston University School of Public Health where she obtained a MPH in Epidemiology and Social and Behavioral Sciences. She is currently working at a non-profit public health agency, The Medical Foundation, where she is interested in working with the underserved populations and working toward eliminating health disparities.
