Annual Student Send Off Ice Cream Social
We will be hosting our annual Student Send Off for incoming students from the greater Boston area! Join us from 1pm-3pm at "The Cove" in Auburndale! Alumni are encouraged to attend and share their Penn State experiences! Plus also there will be Berkey Creamery ice cream. . .so we don't think you'll want to miss it!

Where is the event located?
The Student Sendoff is being held at "The Cove" (also known as the Auburndale Playground) in Auburndale (a neighborhood of Newton).
Directions: From either direction on Commonwealth Ave. (Route 30), take Melrose Street in Auburndale about one-half mile to West Pine Street. Take a left and follow the road to the parking lot.
What can I bring into the event?
We will provide Berkey Creamery ice cream (for those to new to the Penn State family, Berkey Creamery is Penn State's very own creamery. . .responsible for teaching Ben and Jerry, yes that Ben and Jerry, how to make ice cream!). Individual snacks and drinks will be provided as well!
If you would like a seat for the social, please bring a chair! There are few picnic tables available.
Can I bring my family, even if they did not go to Penn State?
ABSOLUTELY! We are all one big pride now!
