Officership Description: Hospitality Chair
TITLE Philanthropy Chair
JOB SUMMARY The Hospitality Chair is responsible for contacting and recruiting new members. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The Hospitality Chair shall, with the support of the Hospitality Committee:
- Organize meetings of the Hospitality committee
- Plan an annual newcomer's function to welcome Penn State family members new to the area
- Coordinate at least one membership drive annually
- Organize for greeters to be present at each chapter function
- Contact new-to-the-area Penn State graduates, performing a drive of such contacts twice annually.
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Communicate to the member benefits committee feedback gained in the recruitment process that will help direct the committee's direction
