Officership Description: Philanthropy Chair
TITLE Philanthropy Chair
JOB SUMMARY The Philanthropy Chair is responsible for planning and executing philanthropic events and identifying other organizations' philanthropic events, with the efforts of a committee, for the membership to participate in. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The Philanthropy Chair shall:
- Organize meetings of the philanthropy committee
- Plan an annual calendar of philanthropy events that members can participate in
- Coordinate the events including informing members, reminding members who sign up, ensuring a committee member is present at the event and in charge of our group, and following up with attendees to confirm their satisfaction.
- Coordinate THON fundraiser in the greater Boston area
- Track metrics including number of attendees, number of events, and donations made.
