Officership Description: Community Service Chair
TITLE Community Service Chair
JOB SUMMARY The Community Service Chair is responsible for planning and executing service events, with the efforts of a committee, for the membership to participate in. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The Community Service Chair shall:
- Organize meetings of the community service committee
- Plan an annual calendar of service events that members can participate in
- Coordinate the events including informing members, reminding members who sign up, ensuring a committee member is present at the event and in charge of our group, and following up with attendees to confirm their satisfaction.
- Track metrics including number of attendees, number of events, and hours of service
