Mike McGlade

Mike is a lifelong entrepreneur with an interest in giving back to the community. He graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and spent 7 years honing his skills as a technology sales executive while working in both the Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA regions.

He is currently a MBA candidate in the class of 2009 at the Harvard Business School and founder of Zoosa (www.zoosa.org), a new website with a mission to make it easier for young professionals to get involved in the social enterprise sector. “We plan to aggregate content from high quality partner sites to Zoosa in order to give highly educated professionals a single location to quickly find all social enterprise ideas, information & opportunities. As a destination for young professionals interested in social enterprise, Zoosa will evolve into a platform for companies to advertise their socially responsible activities, products/brands, and CSR reports.” The website is expected to launch in the spring of 2009.

Mike is a general aviation private pilot & an amateur photographer. He enjoys a variety of outdoors activities including running, hiking, camping & skiing. He grew up in West Chester, PA in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

He attended Penn State from 1996 – 2000. During that time, he was actively involved with THON (danced in 2000), his fraternity (Tau Epsilon Phi), and the Inter-fraternity Council. He currently lives in Cambridge and can be contacted via Facebook.
