Alumni Admissions
Always one of our most active committees, the Alumni Admissions committee actively support the University's Admissions Office. We staff over two dozen local college fairs, representing our Alma Mater, and help to inform high school students and their families about Penn State. This is a truly rewarding time and a very flexible and managable time commitment. If you are interested and only have a night or two a month that you could help out, we could still probably use you! Email our Alumni Admissions Chair at alumniadmissions@psuboston.org to learn more about this wonderful opportunity. Interested in becoming an Alumni Admissions Volunteer? Go to the Penn State site https://www.admissions.psu.edu/recruitment/volunteers/ and click "Become an Alumni Volunteer." It will walk you through three steps: 1- Find out what it means to be an Alumni Volunteer; 2- Sign up to become an Alumni Volunteer; 3- Attend a kickoff meeting and complete Volunteer Training. Once your sign-up form is received, you will get an email from Amanda Modar (which will also be copied to the Alumni Admissions chair) and your volunteer handbook in the mail.
