Aaron Pinkett, Community Service

Picture
Aaron Pinkett graduated from Penn State in 2014 with degrees in Biology and Psychology.  After graduating, he spent three years in Philadelphia working at the University of Pennsylvania in clinical research, studying the genetic and psychiatric characteristics of opioid addiction.  He moved to Boston in 2017 to start his Masters of Public Health at Boston University, where he is concentrating in Health Policy and Law and Maternal/Child Health. He currently works at the Boston Public Health Commission in the Division of Violence Prevention, and his future career interests include legislative advocacy for increased access to behavioral health care services for children and adolescents. Aaron joined the Boston Chapter of the PSU Alumni Association because he wanted to expand his network and meet more people who share his love of Penn State in the greater Boston area.
